Before use

Note: First install rechargeable battery in the device.
Replacing / inserting
rechargeable batteries
Insert / replace the rechargeable batteries when you notice the op-
erational period of the item has noticeably decreased over time,
despite full exposure to solar radiation.
Open the battery cover
Then remove the fixing screws of the battery compartment lid.
If necessary, remove the old rechargeable batteries and insert
three new batteries. Clean the battery and battery compartment
contacts if necessary. Only use Ni-MH rechargeable batteries
of type AA 1.2 V, 800 mAh. When inserting, ensure the cor-
rect polarity has been used. This is indicated in the battery
compartment.
When closing the battery compartment, ensure that the seal is
in the correct place
