Integrator Position Adjustment

Place the unit on a work table satisfying the
projection conditions in Fig. 1.
When using the VPDL-ZP50 1.5 times zoom standard focus lens:
100 inch screen size.

If the integrator has been replaced, mark the lamp
position (X axis direction), loosen X1 to X4, rotate
the X axis, and set the lamp to the lowest position
to lower the lamp luminance. (See Fig.2)

1. Be sure to mark the position of the lamp.
2. Close the internal lamp cover.

Turn ON the power.

Set the Serviceman mode by pressing the control
panel keys (or the remote commander) in the
following order:
ENTER nENTERn>n.nENTER.

Press the PATTERN key several times, to select
and receive the cross-hatch signal.

Check that the cross-hatch can be seen on the
screen (if it cannot, move the integrator up and
down, left and right so that it appears on the
screen). (See Fig.3.)

Maximize the angle of view using the ZOOM+ key
on the control panel (or remote commander), and
adjust the focus using the FOCUS +/– keys.

Press the PATTERN key, and receive the all white
signal.

Move the integrator up and down (X axis), and
secure it temporarily at the lowest position. (See
Figs. 4 and 5.)

Move the integrator left and right (Y axis), and
secure it temporarily at the left most position. (See
Figs. 4 and 5.)
Note
When the integrator is moved up and down, the
projected image moves left and right, and when the
integrator is moved left and right, and the projected
image moves up and down. (See Fig.5.)
