Replacing the Lamp

Replacing Procedure
When replacing the lamp, use the PK-PJ1800 Projector
Lamp (not supplied).
Follow the procedure below.

Turn the power off by pressing the POWER OFF
key on the control panel or the Remote
Commander, then wait for about 15 minutes.

After the POWER indicator stops flashing, turn the
main power off with the BREAKER ON/OFF
switch and wait for about 30 minutes until the
lamp cools down.

Turn the screw on the lamp cover
counterclockwise 90 degrees to detach the cover.

Using a screwdriver, loosen the screw on the
internal lamp cover, and open the cover.

Detach the lamp fixing bars.

Detach the lamp carefully, and install a new one.
After replacing the lamp, follow steps 3 to 5 in the
reverse order.

Set the BREAKER ON/OFF switch to ON. While
the projector is in the standby mode, press the keys
on the control panel on the rear of the projector in
the following order within 5 seconds each:
LIGHT key, B key, b key, ENTER key.
Notes
1. Do not touch the inside of the lamp.
2. Power may not turn on if the lamp is not attached
correctly.
3. Power may not turn on if the internal lamp cover is
not closed firmly.
