3. Installation position
When positioned correctly, the connector housing of the external unit and the
connecting cable should point towards the rear of the vehicle. Any other position is
incorrect – please refer to the drawing below.

When deciding on the final installation position, make sure you take into account
the space required on the roof of the vehicle, and also consider the position of the
battery assembly and the choice of location for the control panel so as to make the
subsequent routing of the cables as easy as possible.
4. Threaded elbow fitting
The threaded elbow fitting on the roof must be located with the cable inlet pointing
to the rear of the vehicle, thus protecting it against splash water.
