Check mains switch, plugs and socket
Switch MODE switch to "BT OFF" or "ON"
Check input connections, exchange RCA connec-
tor, check source signal (is a different audio com-
ponent fed by the same source playing cor-
rectly?)
Disconnect one channel, is the bass level higher
now? Connect 2
nd
channel again, but now with
inverted polarity, check cables for polarity error
Check and increase level adjustment at the
source device
Place subwoofer in front of a wall or a corner.
Check all connections; reduce the level an ELAC
sub to -30dB; the outer rings of the RCA plugs
may have to be readjusted.
Check of ELAC sub for inherent hum: switch
MODE to OFF, disconnect all inputs, switch to
ON, normal settings.
Now, with the ear near the speaker there may be
a soft hum, but none at the listening place.
Change POWER mode selector to „ON"
Check the settings with help of owners manual
Switch POWER mode selector (6) to „BT OFF",
then again to „ON" and renew dial in; should
there be already another connection, switch this
source off and start again the connection from the
favoured soude
Change POWER mode selector (6) to „BT OFF"
Move the Bluetooth® source nearer to the re-
ceiver
Check the manual of your source if A2DP has to
be activated or is missing
Switch off /by pass the equalizer
