TRANSLATION OF THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: BEFORE THE POWER TOOL IS USED FOR THE FIRST TIME, READ THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND
KEEP IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING SAFE USAGE OF THE MINIGRINDER
The minigrinder must be held by the insulated handle, especially when there is a danger of contact
with a hidden electric conductor during work.
The accessories must be selected for a given speed of the spindle. Grinding stones and other accessories
rotating with excessive speed may be projected and cause injuries of the operator.
Do not use the flexible driving shaft, if it is excessively bent. When the shaft is bent excessively, its guard
may become overheated.
Always disconnect the minigrinder from power supply, before any adjustment or accessory replacement
is commenced. Otherwise, it may lead to unexpected injuries.
Always use goggles or impact glasses and a protective mask. The use of personal protection equipment
and operation in a safe environment reduce the risk of injuries.
Pay attention to the location of the switch button, when the tool is put aside and picked up for
operation. Avoid any possibility of unintentional starting of the tool spindle.
When the minigrinder is started, always hold it securely with your hands by the tool handle. The reaction
moment of the motor may cause the tool to rotate, when the spindle is brought to the full idle speed.
When a working tip is replaced or any adjustment is completed, make sure the collet and other control
elements of the tool are properly tightened. The loosening of these elements may lead to the loss of
control over the tool, while loosened rotating elements may be projected suddenly.
Before the minigrinder is used with a brush, make sure the brush idles for at least one minute. During
this time, make sure no one stays in front of the brush or in the plane of its rotations. This is when loose
wire pieces fall out of the brush.
Both the minigrinder and grinding stones should be handled with care to avoid possible crushing or
cracking. If the minigrinder is accidentally dropped during its operation, always replace the grinding
stone. Do not use grinding stones, which may be damaged. Sharp tips should also be handled with
care. Damaged working tips may break off during operation. Blunt tips require greater pressure of the
tool, which may cause cracking of the tip.
Never start the minigrinder, if the tip is in contact with a workpiece. The cutting edge of the tip may
seize in the workpiece, which may cause loss of control over the tool.
Never leave the minigrinder switched on without any supervision. The power supply should be
disconnected first. The minigrinder can be put away only after the spindle stops rotating.
Do not touch the working tool (stone or tip), as soon as the operation is finished. These elements heat
up strongly during operation.
Clean the ventilation slots of the tool with compressed air on a regular basis. Excessive accumulation of
metal file dust inside the motor casing may cause electrical faults.
Do not use inappropriate working tools in cooperation with the minigrinder. Any attempts of
unauthorized modifications of the power tool may cause serious body injuries.
When steel saws, cutting stones, high-speed cutters, or diamond cutters are used, the workpiece
should always be firmly fixed. Never hold the workpiece with your hand when working with the above
mentioned working tools.
NOTE! The tools is intended for indoor works.
Despite using the construction, which is safe by design itself, protection means and additional safety
features, there is always a residual risk of injuries during operation.
