The CA-701 Camera Adaptor attaches to the DVW-700/700P/700WS/
700WSP Digital Betacam Camcorder to provide four channels of audio
input, consisting of two channels on the DVW-700/700P/700WS/700WSP
(AUDIO IN CH-1/CH-2 connectors) and two channels on the CA-701
(AUDIO IN CH-3/CH-4 connectors).
The CA-701 has the following features:
The CA-701 is equipped with two serial digital video/audio output
connectors to allow full monitoring of recorded video and audio signals.
• A monitor output connector (XLR type) and an output connector is
provided for connecting headphones (stereo phones jack).
• The CA-701 can be used to select the audio output for monitoring from
either the AUDIO IN CH-1/CH-2 connectors on the DVW-700/700P/
700WS/700WSP or the AUDIO IN CH-3/CH-4 connectors on the CA-
701.
• Power supplied to the DC IN connector on the CA-701 can be used to
power the DVW-700/700P/700WS/700WSP.
• Power from the DC OUT connector on the CA-701 can be used to power
other equipment such as the WRR-860A UHF Synthesized Diversity
Tuner.
