Take a "Quick Read" reading: With the transducer connected to the Unit, apply torque to the transducer using a suitable tool and observe
the reading on the screen. The information on the screen will vary according to the type of measurement mode selected and depending on
how the "Quick Read" settings are configured.

Changing the "Quick Read" Settings
From any mode-specific Quick Read screen, press
any of the 9 preset Transducer Templates that have already been created by pressing
as needed by using the
according to the chosen measurement mode as well as the type of transducer being used.
Transducer Type: Highlight and select the transducer type from the list.
Span: Key in the correct Span of your transducer and press
Torque at 2 Millivolt/Volt: Key in the correct Torque @ 2mV/V for your transducer, and press
Transducer Units of Measure: Highlight and select the correct torque Units of your transducer.
Pulses per Revloution: For transducers with angle measurement,key in the correct Pulses Per Revloution of your transducer and press
Millivolts/Volts: Key in the correct Millivolts/Volt of your transducer, and press
Bridge Resistance: Key in the correct Bridge Resistance of your transducer, and press
View the Transducer Span: On EXTT units and on EXTA units using TRD, TSD or UTA transducers, the span of the transducer will automati-
cally be displayed.
View the Transducer Recal. Date: On EXTT units and on EXTA units using TRD, TSD or UTA transducers, the Recalibration date of the trans-
ducer will automatically be displayed.
Change the Displayed Units of Measurement: Highlight and select the desired Displayed Units from the list.
Change the Track Sampling Rate: Highlight and select the desired Track Sampling value. The Raw ADC option performs no averaging while
the Avg 5000 option displays the average value of 5000 consecutive readings, which are sampled at 2000 readings per second.
Change the Direction of Rotation: Highlight and select the desired direction of rotation from the list.
Change the Cycle End Time: Highlight and select the desired cycle end time from the list.
Change the Frequency Response: Highlight and select the desired frequency response filter from the list. All noise above the selected
frequency will be removed.
Change the Torque Threshold: Key in your desired Torques Threshold, and then press

Change the Second Parameter: Highlight and select the desired 2nd parameter from the list. The selected 2nd Parameter will now be
displayed during every reading.
Change the Second Parameter Threshold (if applicable): Key in your desired Parameter Threshold, and then press
