■ The half mask with activated charcoal filter may not be used at work-
places where there is a possibility of flying sparks or naked flames.
General
■ The half mask may not be used by people with beards or side-burns in
the vicinity of the sealing line.
■ Comply with the local regulations on safety, occupational health & safe-
ty and environmental protection.
■ Heed the accident prevention regulations.

3. Use

Intended Use
When using the corresponding filter type, the half mask protects from or-
ganic gases and vapours (boiling point > 65 °C) and / or dust e.g. solvent
vapours, overspray and grinding dust.
Incorrect use
The half mask is not intended for use in ambient atmospheres subject to
radiation or heat.

4. Description

The half mask supplies the user with clean air for breathing and consists
of the main components:
■ Mask cap with mask body
■ Headband
■ Pre-filter, pre-filter cap and breathing filter
■ Exhaling membrane

■ 10 pre-filters
