Incubation mode ('Run')

Use the button in the 'Run' option to set the device to incubation mode. The temperature for the
thermal plate and lid can be set manually. The clock shows the time elapsed in the incubation mode.
5.4

Create or edit PCR programs ('Programs')

1. To create or edit PCR programs select the 'Programs' option.
2. By touching the 'Programs' option for the first time during a session, the selection dialogue shows
where a new program can be selected ('New') or an existing program can be opened ('Open') for
editing.
3. On the left side of the program editor all available commands are displayed. On the right side of the
editor a list of commands (Steps) of which the program is composed of is shown. After selecting a
program command from the list in the left window it can be inserted into the desired place using the
button.
4. Using a double click or the 'Edit' button
5. Selected program steps can be deleted from the program by using the 'Delete' button
6. Use the 'Save' button
7. Save and start programs in one step by simply using the 'Save&Run' button
8. For even faster programming the VWR thermal cycler comes with a selection of template programs,
which can easily be edited and saved under a new program name.
