2) GENERAL INFORMATION
Electromechanical actuator designed to automate residential gates. The
gearmotor locks the gate closed or open without the need for a solenoid
lock when leaves are no more than 1.8 m long.
The actuator features an electronic torque limiter. It must be controlled by
an electronic control panel featuring torque control.
Operation at the end of travel is controlled by two mechanical stops.
The actuator features an obstacle detection system according to standards
EN 12453 and EN 12445.
The following optional accessories are available:
-Buffer battery kit mod. A SW BAT - A SL BAT
Allows the automated system to carry on working even if there is a short
mains power outage.

Lubrication*
New Rheolube 380
*It is advisable to check the chain's lubrication at regular intervals
based on the environmental conditions in the place where the operator
is installed.
4) TUBE ARRANGEMENT Fig. A
Install the electrical system referring to the standards in force for electrical
systems CEI 64-8, IEC 364, harmonization document HD 384 and other
national standards.

6) INSTALLATION DISTANCES TABLE Fig. B
Optimum installation configurations are highlighted (α°>91°)
The table has been compiled for an average gate 40 mm thick. Always make
sure that the gate and actuator do not collide.
7) FASTENING OF FITTINGS TO PILLAR Fig. C
8) POWER CABLE Fig. D
The board's power cable must be rated H 05 RN-F or equivalent. An equivalent
cable must have the following properties:
- permanent outside use
- max. temperature on cable surface +50°C
- minimum temperature -25°C
9) ATTACHING MOTOR TO FASTENING ON GATE (operation to be
performed with carriage pin in closed position Fig. E)
Ref. 7: with the carriage pin at the front limit stop, position the bracket on
the gate so that it is level with the one on the pillar.
INSTALLATION MANUAL
10) ADJUSTING THE CLOSING AND OPENING LIMIT STOPS Fig. F-G
- Move the carriage pin (Ref.1) to the closed (or open) position.
- Use the Allen key to loosen the lock screw (Ref.2).
- Position the stop-holder plate (Ref.3) near the carriage (Ref.1).
- Move the stop (Ref.4) up against the carriage (Ref.1).
- Retighten the release screw (Ref.2).
11) TIPS FOR SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS Fig. I,J,K.
With the leaf fully open, create a recess to accommodate the operator. Fig. I
gives the minimum dimensions of the recess.
If distance "b" is greater than the values given in the installation tables:
- create a recess in the pillar Fig. J
- move the leaf so that it is flush with the pillar Fig. K.
12) LEAF STOPS AT GROUND LEVEL
For the actuator to work properly, it is advisable to use stops "Fig. L Ref. 1"
to stop the leaves both when they are opened and closed, as illustrated in
Fig. L.
The leaf stops must prevent the actuator rod from reaching the end of its
travel.
13) MANUAL OPENING (See USER GUIDE -FIG. 1-).
