Choix de la tension
• Assurez-vous de la tension nécessaire à l'appareil que vous vou-
lez utiliser.
Vous trouverez cette information soit directement sur le boîtier de
l'appareil, soit dans sa notice d'emploi.
• Avec la clé livrée à cet effet, tournez le bouton jaune de réglage et
mettez-le sur la tension correspondante
N'essayez pas de changer le réglage de la tension
pendant le fonctionnement de l'appareil !
Choix de la polarité
• Choisissez la fiche de la taille nécessaire au raccordement de
l'appareil que vous voulez faire marcher.
• Contrôlez la polarité nécessaire à la fiche.
Vous trouverez cette information soit directement sur le boîtier de
l'appareil, soit dans sa notice d'emploi.
• Branchez la fiche de raccordement dans la gaine de la douille du
câble de raccordement en tenant compte de la polarité.

Caution!
The car adapter only runs with DC voltage. An AC
voltage applied to the input of the car adapter will
unevitably damage the adapter.
Make sure that the car adapter is sufficiently venti-
lated as it may become extremely warm if operated
under the rated load. Never cover the ventilation
slits.
Maintenance
Besides a possible fuse replacement (see safety instructions) and
an occasional cleaning of the housing, of the ventilation slits and
connecting cables, the car adapter is free of maintenance. Use a
dry, antistatic and lint-free cloth for cleaning.
Fuse replacement
To replace the fuse, unscrew the fuse holder of the cigarette lighter
plug. Now the centre contact containing the microfuse can be
removed. Replace the defective fuse only by a new one of the same
type: quick-acting with 2 A and 250 V (F2A/250V). After having
replaced the fuse and reattached the fuse holder, check the spring
effect of the centre contact before inserting the plug back into the
jack of the cigarette lighter.
Caution!
Do not use carbon-containing cleaning agents, ben-
zines or alcohol or the like for cleaning as they might
attack the surface of the car adapter. Furthermore,
the fumes are detrimental to the health and explo-
sive.
