temperature.
The ventilation slits must not be covered. The device must be set up
on a flame-retardant surface in such a manner that air can enter the
device freely. Cooling of the device is accomplished by convection.
Do not operate the device under unfavourable ambient conditions
such as dust, moisture, combustible vapours and magnetic fields.
These damage the sensitive electronic parts inside the device.
Do not connect rechargeable batteries to the output of the device
since the output is not protected in the event of polarity inversion
and might be destroyed.
If there is doubt concerning the safe operation of the device, e.g. if it
shows visible damages, malfunctions, unfavourable storage or
heavy transport stress the device must be put out of operation and
secured against unintended operation.
Product description
The car adapter with an input voltage of 12 – 24 V can be applied for
all portable electronic appliances featuring a maximum current con-
sumption of 2.0 A. The output voltage is maintained on a constant
DC voltage value by means of an electronic control system. This
value can be adjusted via the voltage selector to 1.5 / 3 / 4.5 / 6 / 7.5
/ 9 and 12 V. This enables the car adapter to be used for various
devices such as CD players, portable radios, cassette recorders,
video games, TV sets.
