- Remove the pads and the shims from the head of the jib, taking care to mark them and their
position for subsequent re-installation.
- Remove the telescope completely from the front of the jib (Fig. D). Ensure the the whole
assembly remains balanced and take care when drawing out the four hoses attached to the
telescope (Fig. E)

REASSEMBLY OF THE TELESCOPE
- Reassemble by carrying out in reverse order the operations described in the chapter "REMOVAL
OF THE TELESCOPE", also complying with the following instructions.
- Check that the position of the hoses is correct (Fig. E)

- After re-assembling all the jib components, adjust and secure the jib wear pads.
- Check that the jib is in good working order.
