REMOVAL OF THE TELESCOPE
REMOVAL OF THE TELESCOPE
- Set the forklift truck on a horizontal surface with the handbrake engaged and the gear reverser
set to neutral.
- Telescope the jib to the maximum.
- Set the jib horizontal. Stop the engine. Release the hydraulic pressure by operating the levers
on the distributor.
- Remove the plate from the head of the jib (Item. 1 Fig. A) to access the hose connectors.
- Mark the position of the cylinder's supply hoses (Item. 2 and 3 Fig. B) and disconnect them.
Also remove the flange (Item. 4 Fig. B)
- Plug the orifices of the four hoses and pull them towards the back of the jib.
- Remove the shaft from the base of the telescoping cylinder (Item. 5 Fig. C)
- Remove the plate from the base of the jib (Item. 6 Fig. C)
- Attach a sling to the telescope (Fig. D)
- Remove the pads and the shims from the base of the jib, taking care to mark them and their
position for subsequent re-installation.
