ADJUSTMENT AND IMMOBILIZATION OF THE JIB WEAR PADS
- Set the forklift truck on a horizontal surface with the handbrake engaged and the gear reverser
set to neutral.
- Set the jib horizontal.
FRONT PADS
- Telescope approximately 200 mm and check the play in the lower, upper and side wear pads for
clearance (allowable clearances: 0 to 0.5 mmm Fig. A).
- If necessary, immobilize.

- Untighten the nuts (Item. 1) completely (Fig. B).
- Add the shims required, balancing the thicknesses on both sides of the telescope.
NB: Shims are available in the following thicknesses : 0,5 ; 1 ; 2 et 4 mm.
- Check that the screws are fully tightened to the end of the thread.
- Apply MANITOU locking compound Réf. 187526 on the nuts item. 1 (Fig. B).
- Replace and tighten the nuts item. 1 (Fig. B) (tightening torque 92.6 N.m ± 25 %).
