5. Throttle Percent Reverse
Use this function to limit the power available for the reverse run. The lower the
percent the less speed will be available in reverse.
20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60% (Default), 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%
6. Throttle Limit
Use this function to limit the power available using forward throttle. The lower
the percentage the more forward throttle speed will be available.
0%(Default), 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%
7. Percentage Braking
Gives you the ability to have full control over the amount of brake your vehicle
will have.
10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% (Default), 60%, 70%, 80%, 100%
8. Percentage Drag Brake - 4%( Default), 8%, 12%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%
The drag brake function allows to set the effect of brake when the throttle trig-
ger is resting in the neutral position. This will create the "feel" of a brushed
motor.
Drag brake is used in racing to slow a vehicle as you let off approaching a corner
versus the driver having to push the brake at every corner.
Try working with this to get a sense of how you might use this for your track.
If you are running on a high traction track with tight corners, a stronger setting
should work best.
If you are running in an open area, you will find a smaller percentage will result
in better control.
If you are running on dusty or slippery surfaces, you will more than likely want
to use the lowest option.
9. Switching Frequency
8 kHz (default), 16 kHz
10. Neutral Range
This setting adjusts the width of "deadband" around the neutral of the throt-
tle trigger. The smaller the value the narrower the "deadband" is - the smaller
off-centre movement is required to begin accelerate for the ESC. Using a higher
value for this setting will provide a wider deadband.
2%, 3%, 4% (Default), 5%, 6%, 10%

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

- Put your car on a stand with all wheels in the air or do not install the drive
pinion on the motor when you test the ESC and motor for the first time to
verify the correct settings on your radio. Only install the pinion after you
have confirmed that the settings on your radio is correct.
- Never use ruptured or punctured battery cells.
- Never use battery packs that are known to overheat.
- Never short circuit battery or motor terminals.
- Always use proper insulation material for cable insulation.
- Always use proper cable connectors.
- Do not exceed the number of cells or servos specified for the ESC.
- Wrong battery polarity will damage the ESC and void the warranty.
- Install the ESC in a suitable location with adequate ventilation for cooling.
This ESC has a built-in over temperature cutoff protection feature that will
cut power to the motor once the ESC temperature exceeds the 203°F/ 95°C
temperature limit.
- Use only batteries supported by the ESC and ensure the correct polarity
before connecting.
- Switch your transmitter ON first and ensure the throttle trigger is in the
neutral position before connecting the battery pack.
- Never switch your transmitter OFF while the battery is connected to your
