5. Operation

5.1 Putting the device into
operation and switching
it off
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
During operation, completely unwind the
mains power cable 5, to prevent over-
heating and the cable from melting.
1. Plug the mains plug 5 into a properly
installed, easily accessible mains sock-
et whose voltage corresponds with the
rating plate. The wall socket must still
be easily accessible after connection.
2. Switch on the power
supply by setting the
dial TIMER 8 to ON.
The device is now ready
for operation.
3. Switch off the power
supply by setting the
dial TIMER 8 to OFF.
5.2

Setting the speed setting

Using the speed settings, you can choose
how fast the device circulates the air in the
room.
The device has 4 speed settings 1 – 4. The
fan stops rotating at position 0.
• Set the dial SPEED 6 to
the desired level.

5.3

Setting running time

The device has a timer, which allows you to
set the desired running time between 0 and
120 minutes. A to-the-minute setting is not
possible.
1. Switch the timer on by
rotating the dial
TIMER 8 to any posi-
tion between 0 and
120 minutes. The pow-
er supply is switched on
at the same time.
2. To switch off the timer, set the dial
TIMER 8 to OFF.
NOTE: if you want to operate the device in
continuous operation, you must set the dial
TIMER 8 to ON.

Distributing air

The device has a rotatable grill 3.
When added this is added it distributes the
out-flowing air more evenly in the room:
1. Press the LOUVER 7 switch to the
MOVE position to start the rotation of
the grill.
2. Switch off the function by pressing the
LOUVER 7 switch to the STOP posi-
tion.
