Measurement
1. To switch on the thermometer, turn the ring clockwise, until completely open, i.e. the ring
notch should coincide with the notch of the thermometer (FIGURES 2 and 3). It is important
that the ring is turned completely, in order to obtain the full opening of the thermometer "ob-
jective", causing the blue leds to switch on and their light to converge in a single blue ray that
indicates the precise point where the temperature is read. The blue ray is very useful to ensure
the correct positioning of the probe during the reading.
To start the reading, wait for the sign "READY" to appear. (FIGURE 4).

2. Hold the thermometer at a distance not exceeding 10 cm from the forehead. Press the
"Measurement" button (FIGURE 1) and scan the whole temple area. The best position is at the
left and above the left eyebrow or at the right and above the right eyebrow, just underneath the
hairline.
