level, then screw the caps.
When you install the battery, check that the vent
tube is connected and that it comes out from the
4
battery compartment without any folds, obstructions
or pinching.
5
Note: check the electrolytic level with the scooter
on a perfectly flat surface.
6
Battery recharging
To carry out this operation, we advise you to remove
the battery from its housing.
Disconnect the cables.
Always remove the element caps.
It is good practice to recharge with amperage of
/0 with respect to that of the charged battery.
After recharging, check the liquid level again and, if
ENG
necessary, top it up; refit the caps.
Refit the battery, being careful to connect the
positive wire (red/blue and red) to the + pole and
the negative cable (black) to the ‑ pole.
The battery must always be kept completely
charged. During winter or when the vehicle is not
used, charge the battery at least once a month.
34
Removing battery during long‑term storage
During long‑term storage, it is recommended to
disconnect the battery:
To do this, take the battery out of its compartment
and detach the connector.
Danger of explosion! Never use open flames
(lighters, matches, etc.) to check the battery
liquid level.
The battery contains sulphuric acid, which is
highly toxic. Avoid any contact with eyes, skin or
clothes.
