• When operating a power tool out
doors, use only an extension cord
approved for outdoor use. The use of
a suitable extension cable for outdoor
use will reduce the risk of an electrical
shock.
• If it is not possible to avoid using the
power tool in a damp environment,
use a residual current circuitbreak
er. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of
electric shock.
Personal safety
• Be careful and ensure that you pay
attention to what you are doing, and
make sure you are using the power
tool sensibly. Do not use power
tools when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or
prescription drugs. A moment of in-
attention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
• Use safety equipment. Always wear
goggles. Safety equipment such as
dust masks, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hats or hearing protection, accord-
ing to the type of power tool and the
purpose, will reduce personal injuries.
• Avoid switching on accidental
ly. Ensure that the power tool is
switched off before you connect it
to the power supply/battery or carry
it anywhere. Carrying the device with
your finger on the switch or plugging in
a device that has its switch on invites
accidents.
• Remove any adjusting keys or
wrenches before turning the power
tool on. A wrench or a key left at-
tached to a rotating part of the device
may result in personal injury.

• Avoid abnormal body positions.
Ensure that you are stood securely
and keep your balance at all times.
This enables better control of the
power tool in unexpected situations.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
hair, clothing and gloves well away
from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair may be caught in
moving parts.
• If facilities are provided for the
connection of a dust extractor and
collection facilities, ensure these are
connected and properly used. Use of
these devices can reduce dust related
hazards.
Power tool use and care
• Do not overload the device. Use the
appropriate power tool for the task
in hand. The correct power tool will do
the job better and safer in the specified
performance range.
• Do not use the power tool if the
switch is defective. Any power tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power
source and/or remove the recharge
able battery before making any ad
justments, changing accessories, or
storing the device. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
• Keep power tools that are not in use
stored out of the reach of children.
Do not allow persons to operate the
unit who are not familiar with it, or
who have not read these instruc
tions. Power tools are dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.
