• Fix the rope to a suitable bracket.
• Connect the hose you are using to the hose
connection (4) of the clear water pump.
Make sure that the diameter of the hose
used and the connections required are
designed accordingly.
• The pump requires an area of at least 60 x 60 cm.
Make sure the pump is straight after lowering.
• There is a cable clamp on the side of the carrying
handle. This serves to fix the cable to the float
switch.
The corresponding switch-on or switch-off water
levels are revealed later depending on how the
cable of the float switch is fixed.
Fix the cable to the float switch very carefully and
set the right cable length for your place of use.

9. Setup

Check the mains cable with the mains plug for damage before each use. The product must not be operated
if the mains cable and/or the mains plug are damaged. There is a risk of fatal electric shock!
• Please also note the pictures below.
• After you lowered the clear water pump in the well using a rope and attached the rope accordingly, plug the mains
plug into a properly grounded mains socket. For outdoor operation, it must be an IP44 mains socket.
The mains plug may be plugged into the mains socket only when it is dry. Otherwise there is a risk of a fatal
electrical shock!
The mains cable should face down from the power outlet to prevent water from returning to the mains
socket.
• When the float switch is properly positioned, the clear water pump will turn on and begin to draw in and deliver the
water through the outlet.
