12. Care and cleaning

Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions for cleaning as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• There are no serviceable parts in the clear water pump, so never open or disassemble it. Any maintenance or
repair and the involved opening of the clear water pump must be done by an expert or a specialist workshop only.
• Before carrying out any cleaning, the clear water pump is to be separated from the mains voltage, pull the mains
plug from the mains socket.
• To clean the outside of the clear water pump, a clean, soft cloth is
sufficient. If necessary, rinse the outer surface with clear water.
• Dirty suction holes can be cleaned with running water (e.g. with a
garden hose). The inside of the clear water pump can also be rinsed
with running water by removing the hose and any fitting.
• The base cover can be detached from the housing using a suitable
Phillips screwdriver.
• The base cover and the inside of the clear water pump can be rinsed
with running water.
• After cleaning, dry the clear water pump and mains cable carefully.
• Replace the base cover and screw it in place before storing the pump.

13. Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of
its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
