4) Once the warm-up period has elapsed, place
the item to be baked/grilled on the rack 8 or
the baking tray 9 and slide it onto one of the
rails 1 . Ensure that there is sufficient clearance
between the foodstuffs and the inner walls/
heating elements of the appliance .
5) Close the glass door before starting the grilling
or baking process .
6) Use the timer 5 to set the required grilling or
baking time . The maximum grilling or baking
time is 60 minutes .
NOTE
► If the cooking time for the food to be grilled/
baked is less than 20 minutes, first set the
timer 5 to 40 minutes and then turn it back
to the required grilling or baking time .
The control lamp 6 shows that the appliance is
now switched on . The switch of the timer 5 now
rotates anticlockwise to "OFF" .
The appliance switches off automatically after the
set period; there is a beep and the control lamp 6
goes off .
NOTE
If you want to interrupt the heating process
prematurely, turn the temperature control 3
anticlockwise to the limit stop and set the
function switch 4 to
to "OFF" .
7) After cooking, remove the rack 8 or the bak-
ing tray 9 using the tongs 0 .

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect
the power plug from the mains power socket!
There is a risk of electric shock!
Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid!

► Always allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it . Otherwise there is a risk
of sustaining burns!
■ It is best to clean the appliance and accessories
as soon as they have cooled down . This makes
food residues easier to remove .
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials . These could damage the surface
of the appliance!
► Do not clean the components of the appli-
ance in a dishwasher!
► Do not clean the cooking chamber with an
oven spray as this may make residues on the
heating elements impossible to remove .
■ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth . If neces-
sary, put a little mild detergent on the cloth and
wipe the appliance off afterwards with a cloth
dampened with clean water . Dry everything
properly .
■ Clean the cooking chamber and the glass door
with a damp cloth . If necessary, put a little mild
detergent on the cloth and wipe the appliance
off afterwards with a cloth dampened with
clean water . Dry everything properly .
■ Clean the tongs 0, the baking tray 9, the
rack 8 and the crumb tray 7 in hot water .
Dry all parts properly after cleaning .
