5.3 Mechanical malfunctions

Undesirable noises (bed squeaks and
creaks)
Unwelcome sounds are usually
caused by moving parts coming into
contact with one another. The reason
for this may be a missing part, or
parts that have not been tightened up
properly or have become loose when
the bed was moved.
Check that:
- the bed is properly assembled;
- the bed is properly horizontal;
- the bed is positioned away from the
wall.
