Place the bearing seat on the other side and tighten the two screws again (A, Fig. 8).

11. Replacement of the power cable

If the power cable of the equipment becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
a specialist service provider to eliminate the risk of accident.

12. Cleaning, maintenance, storage and spare parts

Before cleaning, firstly pull the plug of the equipment out of the mains socket.
1) Cleaning
- Always keep all protective devices, air slots and the motor casing free of dirt and dust where
possible.
- Wipe the cover with a clean cloth or use pressurized air set at low pressure to clean the
cover.
- We recommend cleaning the equipment immediately after completing your work.
Clean the equipment regularly using a wet cloth and a little detergent. Never use any
-
corrosive detergent which might cause damage to plastic parts of the equipment. Make sure
that no water penetrates into the equipment.
2) Carbon brush
If excessive sparking occurs during operation, have the equipment checked by a specialist
service provider and the carbon brushes replaced if necessary. Important! The carbon brushes
may be replaced only by a qualified service technician!
3) Maintenance
- Worn and damaged scarifying rollers should be replaced by a specialist service provider.
- Make sure that all fixing elements (screws, nuts, etc.) are firmly tightened to be able to
operate the scarifier safely and with no risk.
- Place the scarifier in a dry storage.
- To ensure a longer service life, clean regularly all rotary parts of the scarifier, such as wheel
and shafts and then apply oil onto sliding surfaces.
- Regular maintenance of the scarifier ensures not only a longer service life and resistance
but it also contributes to the more accurate and easier treatment of the lawn by the scarifier.
At the end of the season (in the autumn), perform an overall inspection of the scarifier and
-
remove all deposited residues. Before starting the equipment again in the spring, it is
necessary to check the scarifier's readiness for operation. If any repairs are necessary,
entrust the equipment to a specialist service provider.
