commercial, farming, industrial or any similar purposes the warranty becomes void.

05. Before putting the equipment into operation

The scarifier is supplied disassembled. Before you start using the scarifier, you must assemble and
install the collecting bag and the push bar. Follow the instructions for assembly provided in the
figure step by step for easier assembly of the equipment.

06. Assembly

1) Fixing the push bar holders
(see Figs. 2)
Insert the holders (7) into the holes in the equipment casing and secure them using the supplied
screws (16). Make sure that the curvature of the bar faces the bag and the concave ends point
towards one another.
2) Placing the lower part of the push bar
(see Fig. 2)
Slide the lower part (6) of the push bar onto the holders (7). Fix the tubes using the screws, washers
and star wheels (13).
3) Placing the upper part of the push bar
(see Figs. 2)
Slide the stress-relief clip (4) onto the upper part of the push bar (5).
Slide the upper part of the push bar (5) onto the lower one (6) and align the openings of the upper
part with those in the lower part of the push bar.
Fix both parts using the screws, washers and star wheels (13).
4) Safety switch
(see Figs. 3)
Open the cover of the safety switch (1) and place it over the holes on the guide bar (5).
Closed the cover and tight the switch by supplied two screws (A).
Fix the power cable with the cable clips (12) to the push bar tubes so that it is still possible to open
and close the safety flap.
5) Collecting bag assembly
(see Fig. 4)
Insert metal frame (11) into collecting bag (9) and fix it inside clamping rims of collecting bag by
means of a simple rounded-off tool (e.g. a spoon handle).
6) Putting on the collecting bag
(see Fig. 1)
To put the collecting bag onto the scarifier, lift the safety flap (10) with one hand and get hold of the
collecting bag (9) handle using the other hand and suspend it from the top onto the scarifier.
Important! Before hanging the bag, make sure that the motor is switched off and the scarifying roller
is not rotating.
