1. Warning! Before use read carefully the operating manual and follow the safety
instructions!
2. Keep a safety distance!
3. Danger! Rotating blades! Keep hands and feet away from the cutting equipment!
Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the power and wait till the machine comes
to a standstill prior to maintenance, cleaning or repair work!
4. Caution! Blades do not stop immediately after switching off.
5. Keep the supply flexible cord away from the cutting blade!
6. Do not use the appliance in wet weather conditions!
7. Wear eye and ear protection!

04. Correct operation

This equipment can be used as a scarifier or lawn aerator. To replace the roller, only a few simple
operations are needed.
The scarifying roller is suitable for pulling up moss and weed with their roots from the soil and for
soil aeration. The lawn can receive nutrients better and is clean. We recommend treating the lawn
with the scarifier in the spring (in April) and in the autumn (in September to October).
The aerating roller cuts the lawn surface, allowing better water percolation and improving oxygen
intake. Aerate the lawn throughout the entire phase of its growth.
This equipment is suitable only for private application, such as for private grass plots or gardens.
The operation time of scarifiers for private purposes does not normally exceed 10 hours per year.
The equipment is used particularly for the treatment of smaller grass plots around residential
buildings, in front gardens and back gardens. This scarifier is not designed for use in public parks,
sports premises, farmland or forest areas.
The Instructions for Use provided by the manufacturer must be strictly adhered to and kept for
future reference to ensure that the equipment is duly operated and maintained. These Instructions
for Use include important information concerning operation, maintenance and repairs.
Important! Due to high risk of injury to the user, this equipment should not be used for crushing
branches and cut off parts of hedges. In addition, this equipment should not be used as a motor
cultivator for soil humps such as molehills.
For safety reasons, the scarifier should not be used as a means of transport for other objects or
tools unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer.
This equipment may be used for the intended purpose only. Any other use is regarded as incorrect
use. The user and not the manufacturer or dealer shall be liable for any damage resulting from
incorrect use.
Note that this equipment is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. In the case of use for
