1. Connect the RJ45 test jack to the end of the network cable.
2. Connect the remote unit to the other end of the cable.
3. Press the TEST button.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Do not attempt to adjust or repair the meter by removing the rear case while voltage is being applied. Adjustments
or repair should only be carried out by a technician who fully understands the danger involved.
2. Always disconnect the test leads from all sources of electric current before opening the case.
3. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
4. Switch the meter off when not in use.
5. Remove the batteries and store the meter in a dry place.
6. Change the battery when
replacement: Remove the screws at the back of the meter and open the battery compartment. Replace the
battery with a new one and close the battery compartment.
7. The fuse rarely needs replacement and will blow almost always as a result of an operational error. Open the case
as per above and take out the PCB. Replace the fuse only with the specified voltage current ratings:
F 200mA/250V.

6. Technical Specifications

Accuracy is specified for a period of one year after calibration and at 18°C ~ 28°C (64°F ~ 82°F) with a relative
humidity up to 80%.
