Operation

– Lay the device securely with the tank cover for saw chain oil (5) upwards.

– Clean the tank cover (5) and filler neck if necessary.
– Slowly open and remove the tank cover (5).
– Carefully fill up the saw chain oil. Do not spill!
– Check the seal in the tank cover (5) for damage and clean if necessary. Replace a damaged seal
immediately!
– Tighten the tank cover (5) with seal by hand.
– Wipe up any spilled fuel.

Safety equipment

The device has several pieces of safety equipment which reduce the risk of injury when working:
Throttle block
The throttle block prevents inadvertent actuation
of the throttle. The throttle (16) can only be actu-
ated if the throttle block (17) is triggered simulta-
neously.
Chain catcher
The chain catcher serves to catch a torn saw chain
or one which has jumped out of the guide. Through regular mainte-
nance of the saw rail and correct and regular tensioning of the saw
chain, accidents of this type can be prevented.





