The termination is appropriate for cables with an impedance of approx.
115 ohm. For cables not matching this value an external termination with
appropriate impedance is required. This interface module supports all
data rates up to 10 Mbit/s.
Important: To maintain the electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) the
shield of the cable connected to the D-sub DE9M plug must be solidly
attached to the screen of the connector.
Pin assignment is compatible to all RS-485 interfaces by SOHARD.
