Remote Control/Appliance
Coupling
Each remote control must be initialised before use.
This activity is entrusted to the installer (for remote
controls sold separately from the product), or factory
set (for remote controls sold with the product).
The activity comprises the following steps:
a. turn the power off for at least 30 sec.;
b. turn the power back on;
c. within 60 sec. perform the procedure described
below.
In detail, holding down the ENTER key for at least 3
seconds, the appliance will couple with the remote
control. Completion of coupling will be confirmed by
an acoustic signal (constant 3 second BEEP) from the
remote control itself.
As each remote control unit is being synchronised,
any settings made to the appliance up to that time are
automatically transferred to the remote control.
Still repeating the same sequence, each appliance
may be coupled to several remote controls, to allow
the user to operate the appliance by means of several
remote controls, situated in different rooms in the
home, or to allow the replacement of a faulty remote
control.
Market selection procedure
(performed by the installer)
The remote control can be adapted for use in the
country of installation, as follows:
• remove the battery and wait a few seconds;
• re-insert the battery;
• press ENTER for 3 seconds (until a beep sounds to
indicate that the remote control has been paired
with the Prometeo ECU);
• press SET and ENTER simultaneously for 3 sec.;
• enter the localisation menu, which contains the
following options:
ENG for UK market (default setting);
ITA for Italian/Export market;
FRA for French market;
Press '+' and '-' to move from one option to the
next.
Press ENTER to confirm your choice.

The date and time (default values) are displayed.

Enables the appliance to be turned on and off. The
command is performed only if the button is pressed
for at least 0.5 seconds. With the appliance off the
time and day of the week are displayed. This function
may be disabled. On turning the appliance on the
AUTO mode is activated at a speed of V min .
