Never make any adjustments when the motor is running.
Always ensure that the machine is disconnected from the power source before working on the machine to maintain or repair it.
After each use, check the machine and replace any defective or broken parts.
Remove all the sawdust or chips that may have collected in the blade guard.
When the brushes of the motor are worn, they must be replaced immediately.

For warranty and safety purposes, all repairs with the exception of motor brush replacement may only be carried out by a repair centre
approved by PSP Outillage.
Any failure of the guard or blade must be repaired immediately.
INSPECTING AND REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES
1. Disconnect the machine from the power socket.
2. Turn the machine over on a piece of cardboard.
3. Take off the lower plate by unscrewing the 4 screws.
4. Unscrew the motor brush covers with an appropriate screwdriver. One of the carbon brushes is on the side opposite the motor.
5. Remove the worn brushes. Each brush must be at least 6 mm long.
6. Put the new brushes in place in the brush holders. The two tabs of the upper metal part of the brush are placed in the brush holder guide.
7. Screw back the brush covers.
8. Check that the motor works.
CHANGING THE LASER BATTERIES
1. Disconnect the machine from the power socket.
2. Take off the blade guard by unscrewing the lock nut so as to take off the flat head square neck screw. You can thus clear the blade guard
from the riving knife.
3. Take off the housing opening screw to access the cells as illustrated in the figure opposite. Then open the housing.
4. Now you can locate the 2 button batteries (of the AG-13 type) indicated by the arrows below. Pull them off and replace them, taking care
to follow their polarity. Then close the housing, re-tighten the screw and check that your laser is operating.
This circular saw model is designed with a table extension and an opening for fitting a power
router (not supplied) from below, so that it can become a multifunctional woodworking machine
that offers the shaper function (thanks to the router). This will make your machine more versa-
tile and you will continue to be able to use your usual router and cutter without having to buy
new accessories.
You will only need to adapt the (optional) accessory kit to transform the table of your saw into a
very practical router table.
For your safety, we have added a safety switch to the table support.
• You must connect your saw and router to these safety connectors. The switch makes it possible
to select the tool you want to use by selecting the position I or II matching one or the other tool
: position I is that of the circular saw, and position II is that of the router. With this switch, there
is no way of starting up and operating both tools at the same time, as that would present a risk
of serious accidents and injury.
