Installing the planer stand (fig. A & B)
• Open the guard (1).
• Place the planer on the stand.
• Mount the bolt (5) and washer (6) and tighten the
wing nut (7).
• Attach the parallel fence if required.
• To remove the planer stand, proceed in reverse
order.
The part of the cutter that is not being
used must always be covered by the
guard or by the parallel fence.

Stationary use (fig. B)
• Switching ON: press the lock-off button (17) and
subsequently press the ON/OFF-switch (16).
• Place the locking wedge (18) to lock the ON/
OFF-switch.
• Release the lock-off button (17).
• Switching OFF: remove the locking wedge (18)
from the ON/OFF-switch.
Always use a pusher rod (15).
Consult your dealer for further information on the
appropriate accessories.
Maintenance
Your D WALT attachment has been designed to

operate over a long period of time with a minimum
of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
Lubrication
Your attachment requires no additional lubrication.
