7. Operating Elements

8. Placing the submersible pump

• Attach a sufficiently strong, waterproof rope to the handle (2) to secure the submersible pump, for example, to lower
it into a well. Ensure that the maximum immersion depth is 7 m.
• Regularly check the rope for secure attachment, as well as for wear or breaking points. Replace the rope if
necessary.
The submersible pump must never be held or fastened by the mains cable (7) or the float switch (5)!
Otherwise the power cord may get damaged, risk of an electric shock! The submersible pump must also
not be attached using the hose.
• Fix the rope to a suitable bracket.
• Remove the cap from the outlet opening (1) and connect the hose you are using to the outlet opening of the
submersible pump.
Do not place the submersible pump with the suction hole in dirt, mud or leaves, e.g. in a rain barrel,
because the submersible pump will be clogged. We recommend keeping a minimum distance of 30 cm
above the ground.
Make sure that the diameter of the hose used and the connections required are designed accordingly.
