CAUTION
Work on the 230 V supply system may only be
carried out by authorised electricians!
The line-side fuse is to be disconnected when
working on the lighting unit.
The dimmers 6593U/6594U are installed in a flush-type
box according to DIN 49073-1.
Universal Master Dimmers and power modules heat up
when in operation due to the fact that a portion of the
installed load is converted, as power dissipation, into
heat. Should the ambient temperature increase during
operation to over 35 °C, the installed load must be
reduced in accordance with the diagram (Fig. 4).
With an ambient temperature of 50 °C, the permissible
power output drops to 57%; with 60 °C, to 28%.
Depending on the application, the dimmers 6593-102/
6594-102 can be connected in accordance with the
connection diagrams Fig. 1 to Fig. 3.
