6.4 Disposal

Evacuation intervals:
Unless otherwise specified, the following evacuation inter-
vals apply to the sewage sludge (from the preliminary sedi-
mentation chamber):
At 70% of the intake capacity of the small sewage treatment
plant, which corresponds to approx. 95 cm, the content of
the sludge sump must be disposed off by a waste disposal
contractor (measurement see 6.2 self-inspection of the ope-
rator or by maintenance firm).
Caution: A correct function can only be guaranteed if the
plant content is disposed of in good time.
For this reason, a disposal contract should be concluded
with an expert company.
The sludge sump, the contents of which must be disposed of at regular intervals, is located on the inlet side of the tank.

CAUTION:
The aeration chamber is located below the pipeline, which drains the sewage from the plant (outlet). The activated slud-
ge inside the chamber may on no account be disposed of! Pay attention that no mounting parts are damaged during the
disposal.
6. Operation and disposal
Performing the disposal

chamber. This sludge must be disposed of.
For taking off and replacing the duct cover use the lifting key
included in the supply.
• Take off the duct cover.
• Use the suction spout of the sewage disposal vehicle to
evacuate the sludge sump or the preliminary sedimentati-
on chamber as completely as possible.
• Clean the tank walls with clear water.
• Fill tank with clear water up to a height of 1.2 m.
• Clean cover bearing ring.
