7.1 VLE 2130 and VLE 2130 F
7.1.1 Limiting overtravel
Contents Limiting overtravel of lifting carriages
Applicability VLE 2130, VLE 2130 F
Each column of the lifting platform is provided with a
control mechanism with adjustable friction effect. This
makes it possible to limit the overtravel of the lifting
carriages caused by mass inertia.

Adjust the pre-tension of the pressure spring
(Fig. 13, Pos. 2) with the nut (Fig. 13, Pos. 3).

Without load, it must still just be possible to turn the
large V-belt pulley with both hands.
7.1.2 Adjusting belt tension

Applicability VLE 2130, VLE 2130 F

The lifting platform must be able to raise the rated
load (-0 % / +10 %) without the V-belts slipping.
Re-tension if necessary with the tensioning bolt
between the motor and column.

1. Unfasten the hose clamp (Fig. 15, Pos. 1) at the
spindle guide (Fig. 15, Pos. 2).

2. Adjust the pre-tension of the friction lining (Fig. 14,
Pos. 1) by way of the hexagon bolt (Fig. 14, Pos. 4).

It must be possible to turn the spindle at the large
ribbed belt pulley by applying a force of approx.
10–12 Nm (with support arms in position). With the
cover removed and no load being applied, it must
still just be possible to turn the large ribbed belt
pulley by hand.
