5.2.3 Diagnosis function / activation

Applicability VLE 2130 EL, VLE 2140 EL

The lifting platform should be in mid-position to
permit the upward/downward movement required
for testing.
Selecting diagnosis function
1. Set the encoding switch to position "8" and press
the Enter button.
 Red/green flashing of both LEDs, alarm generator
sounds intermittently.
 Control system waits for pressing of "Lift"
("Heben") button.
Upward movement
2. Press the "Lift" ("Heben") button.
 LED1 lights (red) - LED2 goes out. The safety
circuit is checked.
 If no fault is found, LED1 goes out – LED2 lights
(red) and the "Lift" ("Heben") relays are activated.
 Lifting platform moves upwards – both LEDs light
(red).
3. Keep the "Lift" ("Heben") button pressed until the
lifting platform is switched off automatically.
4. Release the button.
 Orange/green flashing of both LEDs.
Downward movement
5. Press the "Lower" ("Senken") button.
 LED1 lights (orange) - LED2 goes out. The safety
circuit is checked.
 If no fault is found, LED1 goes out – LED2 lights
(orange) and the "Lower" ("Senken") relays are
activated.
 Lifting platform moves downwards – both LEDs
light (orange).
6. Keep the "Lower" ("Senken") button pressed until
the lifting platform is switched off automatically.
7. Release the button.
 Green flashing of both LEDs.
Activation
8. Set the encoding switch to position "0" – press the
Enter button once.
 Both LEDs light (green) – Test OK – Activation of
PC board successful.
A corresponding entry is made in the EEPROM if
the test is successful. This test must be successfully
completed before the lifting platform can be operated
normally in position "0".

If a fault occurs during the test, the lifting platform
cannot be operated in position "0". The test can only
be repeated after interrupting the power supply and
implementing the activation procedure again.
