GPS Modes:
The GPS receiver has 4 conditions:
Off: The GPS receiver is permanently off in OFFLINE mode.
Normal: The GPS receiver will only become active when waking up or when a new GPS
position is needed for a command.
FENCE: The GPS receiver is permanently active once the GPSZONE (keyword
„GeoFence") has been set and activated. The position of the GX111 is perma-
nently monitored by this.
TRACK: The GPS position is written into the internal memory every 2 seconds. During
tracking, the GPS receiver is permanently active.
The current status of the GPS receiver can be determined via the following
command:
TEST STATUS #1513
The current position in the NMEA0180 format can be determined with the command:
TEST GPS #1513
A link to OpenStreetMap.org can be requested with the following command. However,
this requires a Smartphone with an up-to-date browser for card control:
TEST GPSMAP #1513
The internal memory is sufficient for more than 60,000 GPS-points. You need the following
commands to control tracking:
SET TRACK #1513
Activate tracking without indicating a name
SET TRACK Name01 #1513
Start tracking with the path name
TEST TRACK #1513
Call current tracking status, including memory utilisation
RESET TRACK #1513
Stop tracking
