Suitable dishware

If you use unsuitable dishware, this can
damage the appliance.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance can lead to property
damage.
Never use metallic contain-
ers to warm food and drinks
in the microwave oven.
Use only dishware that is
suitable for use in micro-
wave ovens.
Do not use any aluminium
foil, as it can cause sparks
when it comes into contact
with the cooking chamber
walls.
When heating food in plas-
tic or paper containers, keep
an eye on the oven due to
the possibility of ignition.
Containers that become
hotter than the food inside
them are not suitable for
microwave cooking. Do not
use such containers.
Always use the correct
dishware
Dishware that is microwave-proof and
fi re-resistant is suitable for your micro-
wave oven. This includes:
– fire-resistant glass, ceramic, porce-
lain
– fire and frost resistant glass ceramics
– highly heat-resistant plastics (e.g.
baking mats)
– Plastics and films which are suitable
for microwave use
– Baking parchment
Tip: To fi nd out whether your cook-
ware is suitable for microwave use, you
can carry out the following test: place
the empty container in the cooking
chamber and switch on the microwave
oven at full power for a maximum of
20-30 seconds. If the dishware becomes
hot or if sparks form, it is not suitable!
– If the dishware remains cold or
becomes only lukewarm, it may be
used in microwave mode.
