Requirement:
„ Device is installed correctly.
„ Device is in a proper condition.
„ The necessary fusing devices (residual current device,
line circuit breaker) are integrated into the house instal-
lation in compliance with the respective national regu-
lations, functional and switched on.

„ During the initial setting-up process, the device was
inspected in accordance with IEC 60364-6 and the
applicable national regulations (e.g. in Germany: DIN
VDE 0100-600).

9 LED "Standby" is illuminated on the LED information
panel.

6.3 Testing the device

Test according to IEC 60364-6 and the applicable
national regulations (e.g. in Germany: DIN VDE 0100-
600)
Prior to the initial setting-up process, carry out an inspec-
tion of the charging station in accordance with IEC 60364-
6 and the applicable national regulations (e.g. in Germany:
DIN VDE 0100-600). The test can be carried out in con-
nection with the MENNEKES test box and standard-com-
pliant test equipment. The MENNEKES test box simulates
vehicle communication. Test boxes are available as an
accessory from MENNEKES.
f Perform a standard test before releasing the device.

f Open the top section of housing (1) upward.
f Screw the top and bottom housing sections together.
Tightening torque 1.2 Nm.
