Web interface (System options)
The first time an HTML request is issued to a xNode, a login and password is requested. The default authentication is:
Username: user
Password: (none)

Home

The home page shows system information and acts as the default page for xNodes.
(shown if ID assigned): An xNode can be assigned an ID which is used to assist with IP addressing and
Node ID
channel numbering.
: The code version which is used by the xNode.
Software Version
: The temperature reading of the internal sensor. Alarm status will appear if the temperature is above
Temperature
acceptable limits.
(in audio xNodes): A solid SYNC indication represents synchronization with the network.
Sync
: Shows the status of the xNode's Ethernet ports and indicates which port is active.
Net1 and Net2
: Status of power sources.
Offline Power and Power Over Ethernet
: The amount of time since the last boot up.
System Uptime
The Home page also has a button, "Simple Setup", which links to the Simple Setup page.

Simple Setup

Simple Setup aggregates all of the xNode's basic config settings on one page, such as ID, source and destination
names, GPIO assignments, phantom power, and asynchronous options. The top portion of the page shows Node ID
settings and would reflect the number applied from the front panel in setup. There are check boxes to permit the
enabling of the software to automatically give the device a host name or Livewire channel numbers based on the ID
value. Auto channel numbering follows these rules:
• Node ID in range nn=<1-99> - Channel numbers: nn01-nn08.
• Node ID in range abc=<100-319>, with second level identifier d=<0-9> - Channel numbers: abcd1-abcd8.
In audio xNodes there are three radio buttons that control the matrix mixer and general device operation. The Stereo
4x4 or Mono 8x8 options disable the matrix mixer functionality (explained later in this chapter) and configure the
device for those modes. The Mix/Custom mode enables the matrix mixer and allows for customization of mono,
stereo, and mixing configurations.
