Before working on the electrical system, interrupt the power supply (mains and accumulator) and verify the

safe isolation from supply. Note that the system will still be supplied with power, despite the fact that the
power supply is disconnected, if an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is used.
à Risk of injury by moving parts (drawing in of hair, clothing, ...) when a drive is opened.
à Risk of injury by crushing, impact, shearing or drawing-in spots.
à Danger of injury by sharp edges in the drive.
à Risk of injury through breakage of glass.

Die Maßnahmen zur Absicherung bzw. Vermeidung von Quetsch-, Stoß-, Scher- und Einzugstellen prüfen.

1.4 Entsorgung der Türanlage / Disposing of the door system
à Die Türanlage besteht aus Materialien, die der Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden sollten.
Dazu müssen die Einzelkomponenten entsprechend ihrer Materialart sortiert werden:
à Aluminium (Profile, Haube, Umlenkrollen, Nutensteine, ...)
à Eisen (Mitnehmer, Schrauben, ...
à Kunststoff
à Elektronikteile (Riegel, Motor, Steuerung, Transformator, Sensoren, ...
à Kabel
Die Teile können beim örtlichen Wertstoffhof oder durch ein Schrottverwertungsunternehmen entsorgt werden.
à Akkumulatoren enthalten Schadstoffe und Schwermetalle. Nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgen.
Die Akkumulatoren ebenfalls beim örtlichen Wertstoffhof abgeben.
à The door system consists of materials that should be recycled.
The individual components have to be sorted in accordance with their material type:
à Aluminium (profiles, hood, guide rolls, sliding blocks, ...)
à Iron (carriers, screws, ...)
à Plastic
à Electronic components (dead bolt, motor, controller, transformer, sensors, ...)
à Cables
The parts can be disposed of at the local recycling station or a scrap processing company.
à Batteries contain hazardous substances and heavy metals. Do not dispose of them with household rubbish.
Turn over the batteries to the local recycling station as well.

Einleitung / Introduction

Aus optischen Gründen kann der Sturzrauchschalter GC 151 in den Anbausatz bzw. den Zwischenhaubenbausatz
des Slimdrive EMD-F integriert werden. Hierzu wird der Anbausatz bzw. der Zwischenhaubenbausatz mit einer
Halterung ausgeliefert. In diese wird der Rauchschalter eingesetzt und elektrisch angeschlossen. Bei Brandalarm
oder Stromausfall löst der Rauchschalter die Feststellung der Tür. Es können bis zu zwei weitere Rauchmelder an
den Rauchschalter angeschlossen werden.
Die Beschreibung der Gesamtmontage des Antriebs ist nicht Gegenstand dieser Anleitung.

For reasons of appearance the lintel-mounted smoke switch GC 151 can be integrated in the adapter kit or the
intermediate cover kit of the Slimdrive EMD-F. The adapter kit or the intermediate cover kit is supplied with a
retainer for this purpose. The smoke switch is inserted into it and the electrical connections are made. In case of
a fire alarm or a power failure the smoke switch unlatches the hold-open function of the door. Up to two further
smoke detectors can be connected to the smoke switch.
The description of the overall mounting of the drive is not the subject of these instructions.
