In view of the weight of approx.
10 kg, there is a danger of the
machine slipping or falling when
attaching or releasing the
weight relief system. Pay atten-
tion also that the machine does
not jam on the trigger snap or
on the hook of the breaking
saw. Work cautiously!
When the breaking saw is not in use, store it so
that there is no risk of accidental contact with
the sharp saw blade.

3.1.2 Electrical connection

The breaking saw is operated with electrical en-
ergy and must be connected to the mains
power supply by a qualified electrician in ac-
cordance with the VDE directives and the regu-
lations of the local public utility.
The breaking saw 230 V is equipped as stand-
ard with a spiral cable and a plug connector.
Insert the 230 V mains plug into a socket.

3.2 Actuating Switches

Read the operating manual
before using the breaking saw
for the first time!
The saw must be correctly
connected before switching
on!

3.2.1 Switching on

Hold the trigger switch (a) and handle (b) firmly
Slowly push the switch down.

saw

3.3.1 Working procedure

Before putting the equipment into operation, en-
sure the machine power rating complies with
the local power supply. Carry out a function test
before starting work.
 Hold the breaking saw firmly with both han-
dles and switch on
 With the saw running, insert into the meat to
be cut.
 There may be a recoil if the saw contacts
bone.
 Remove the saw from the meat being cut
while still running and only then switch off.
See also section 3.2.

3.3.2 Operational safety

 Hold the machine firmly with both handles,
never work one-handed.

Saws have an electronic run-
down brake and must be held
with both hands during the run-
down phase of 3 seconds!
Note that there may be residual
electrical and mechanical en-
ergy on the machine. Use ap-
propriate measures to inform
the operating personnel.
Never touch the running saw
blade. Otherwise, you may cut
off limbs of your body!
Never work without the safety
hood in place or with a defec-
tive safety hood!
Wear eye protection or safety
goggles when completing
work!
