Installation
1) Position the hanging plate on the ceiling
and mark the position of the holes before
drilling.
Attention:
Use anchors and screws according to the
property of the ceiling on which you want
to install the plate. Ask an electrician or
qualified engineer/technican to select
anchor bolt or screws. (4mm diameter)
2) Assemble the decorative planel with the
hanging plate - with screws 2 x ST4 *8mm.
3) Slightly press the tips on the plate cable
holders and insert the cables directly.
These will be blocked automatically.
Adjust the length depending your individu-
al requirements.
Note: The cables can only be adjusted
when the cable holder tips are pressed.
4) Lift the hood (at least two persons) and
connect the hood with the hanging plate
using four cables. Insert the cables to the
cable holders which are placed on top of
the cooker hood. Adjust the cable length.

10.2 Use as a circulation hood

This device is factory-provided for
circulation. For this check inside the
hood that the activated carbon filters
are attached on the right and left of the
motor unit.

10.3 Electrical connection

Do not connect the appliance to the
mains until it has been properly
installed.
Never install the appliance if the the
voltage stated on the rating plate (V) does
not agree with the supply voltage in your
home.
You will find the rating plate inside the
appliance, behind the grease filter.
If the extractor hood is fitted with a stan-
dard connector plug, connect this to an
easily accessible standard socket.
If the appliance is not fitted with a connector
plug, a two-pole switch, conforming to stan-
dards with a minimum open contact gap of
3 mm is to be installed by an authorized tra-
desman in an easily accessible location.

10.4 Mounting the carbon filter

You will find the mounting instructions
for the carbon filter in its packaging. To
mount the carbon filter, remove the gre-
ase filter(s), fit the carbon filter according
to its mounting instructions and refit the
grease filter(s).
