Fault clearance
Clean fl oat and metering tube
Remove foreign matter
Check the metering tube or fl oat
material for chemical resistance
with regard to the medium used
and replace by an appropriate
metering tube or fl oat
Install metering tube vertically
Eliminate cause of asymmetric
fl ow, e.g.:
increase straight inlet distance

install fl ow rectifi er

Check O-ring material for
chemical resistance with regard
to the medium used and replace
by appropriate O-ring
Align pipeline
Install inserts correctly
Eliminate cause of turbulent fl ow,
e.g.:
install fl ow rectifi er

Eliminate cause of pulsating fl ow
Fully open manual valves
Remove metering tube and clean
bypass
Clean main fl ow orifi ce plate or
part fl ow orifi ce plate and replace
if necessary
