Ensure that the liquids are free from

Operation

12.1 Reading the measured value

The position of the fl oat in the part fl ow
metering tube corresponds to the volumetric
fl ow of the medium.
Parallax-free reading: Look over the top

edge of the fl oat and read the measured
value on the scale.

12.2 Flow indicators

To facilitate reading the fl ows the maximum
and minimum limit values can be adjusted
on the fl owmeter by means of the red fl ow
indicators provided.

Servicing

Use of wrong spare parts!
® Damage to the fl owmeter!
® Manufacturer liability and guarantee will
be void.
Only the spare parts stated in chapter
G
13.3 "Spare parts" may be replaced.
The fl owmeter may only be repaired by
G
GEMÜ.
Preventive servicing / cleaning is
recommended depending on the operating
conditions.

13.1 Inspection

The operator must carry out regular visual
G
examination of the fl owmeter dependent
on the operating conditions and the
potential danger in order to prevent
leakage and damage.
At regular intervals dependent on the
G
operating and ambient conditions the
metering tube must be checked for
deposits of dirt, damage, cracks and
reliable sealing and cleaned / seals
replaced if necessary.
Replace the metering tube when it is
G
damaged.
The operator is responsible for the
G
determination of appropriate inspection
intervals.
