CHEETAH XPLORE
Sole plate attachment:
• Grind the sole plate to appropriate size,using the grinding template
included in the foot kit (Figure 3). The size of the foot is 2 cm shorter
when used with the footcover. This needs to be taken into account
when grinding the sole plate.
• Use bolts (included in foot kit) to attach sole plate to foot module.
Apply Loctite 410 to all threads and torque to following specifications:
14 Nm
• Follow alignment of Cheetah Junior below (Figur 2).
Note: If foot will be used without shoes, proper sole material needs to be
bonded to the sole plate of the Cheetah Xplore Junior for protection of
the foot module.
LAMINATION CONNECTOR (Figure 1)

• Lamination connector is laminated directly into the posterior socket
wall.
• Placement of the lamination connector is recommended in the
middle 1/3 of the socket for easier height adjustment.
• Make sure the socket surface is flat over the lamination connector to
ensure good load distribution on the foot module when connected.
Bolts go through blade into lamination connector in socket. Apply Loctite
410 to all threads and torque to following specifications:

The Cheetah Xplore Junior and Cheetah Junior may also be connected by
direct lamination.
FRICTION PADS
Always use friction pads between foot module and socket.
BENCH ALIGNMENT
Sagittal plane (Figure 2)
Cheetah Junior & Cheetah Xplore Junior:
• Determine vertical socket position in alignment jig.
Cheetah Junior:
• Load line bisects socket and falls through the ground contact point.
