5.4. Connecting an array of several water heaters

It is always preferable to fi t the water heaters in series, as using all the capacity of all the
appliances provides much better results than an installation in parallel.
If an array of several devices is installed, a safety valve assembly, non-return fl ap and valve
must be fi tted to each tank. Installing a by-pass makes it possible to isolate an appliance for
maintenance or during periods of lower use.
Installing a circulation heater in series within the circuit enables users to access water at the
required temperature at any time.
